Exploring Gloucester By Foot
June 23, 2018 / Good to Know, Outdoor Adventures, Things to Do & SeeWalking around town is a great way to explore the city of Gloucester! Gloucester is a good-sized city in terms of square miles, but most of its neighborhoods are walking-friendly. This includes the downtown area with its shops and restaurants. Some of the most scenic walks in New England include a stroll along Stacy Boulevard (seen in the photo above), walking down the Dog Bar by Eastern Point Light, and walking along East Gloucester’s Back Shore.
This Walking Map of Gloucester is designed to show how long it takes to walk between special locations in Gloucester in 3- to 12-minute segments. Note: The timing, of course, is an estimate based on average walking speeds; your mileage may vary!
