July 16, 2025 / Art and MusicCulture Splash is back for its fifth summer, bringing Gloucester’s Harbortown and Rocky Neck cultural districts to life every Thursday evening in July and August. Enjoy free pop-up events, gallery receptions, live music, performances, poetry readings, and more—all in a relaxed, coastal setting.
This week, hop between the neighborhoods using the free Cape Ann Harbor Tours Water Shuttle, which runs continuously with stops at the Harbormaster Dock, 51 Rocky Neck Restaurant, and St. Peter’s Square. Whether you’re here for the art, the live music, or just to soak in the summer atmosphere, each Thursday offers a fresh lineup to explore.

The Gloucester Stage is showing The Garbologists, written by Lindsay Joelle and directed by Rebecca Bradshaw. The Garbologists offers “a comedic take on unlikely friendships” and is running from July 3rd to July 26th.
