Shop Local This Small Business Saturday in Gloucester, MA

November 05, 2025 / Things to Do & See

Small Business Saturday is just around the corner, and there’s no better place to celebrate than right here in Gloucester, Massachusetts. On Saturday, November 29, join us in supporting the independent shops, restaurants, and artists that give our coastal community its charm.

Founded in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a national movement encouraging people to shop small during the holiday season. Every purchase made at a local store or meal shared at a neighborhood restaurant directly supports the people who make Gloucester such a special place to visit — and to call home. Whether you’re shopping for unique gifts, grabbing a cozy drink, or treating yourself to a delicious meal, your dollars make a big impact in keeping our downtown thriving year-round.

As you stroll around town, pop into locally owned boutiques, art galleries, and specialty shops, many of which will be offering special promotions and holiday treats to celebrate the day.
