Tin Can Sally, also known as Sally Seamans, creates birds, fish, jewelry, collages, mobiles, and more from printed tin containers of all shapes and sizes. As a hunter/gatherer, she finds her tins at yard sales, flea markets, antique shops and serendipity. The types of tins Sally uses in her work vary from olive oil, cookie, coffee, tea, candy, biscuit, soy sauce, mustard, ethnic foods, popcorn and sewing tins. Tin Can Sally’s work can be seen and purchased at Local Colors Artists’ Cooperative in Gloucester, MA.
