Legacy: Looking Forward and Glancing Backward | Windhover Performing Arts Center

A full evening of modern dance with four outstanding professional dancers from New York City performing the work of three important choreographers including Paul Taylor, Martha Graham and Margie & Chris Gillis. The four performers include Michael Trusnovec, formerly a soloist with PAUL TAYLOR Dance Company, Lloyd Knight & Xin Ying, both current stars of the Martha Graham Dance Company and Annmaria Mazzini of Mazzini Dance Collective. Michael Trusnovec is hailed by the New York Times as “one of the world’s most luminous dancers.” Xin Ying and Lloyd Knight have been highlighted in the New York Times.

Program includes: Vers la Glace; Duet performed by Michael Trusnovec and Annmaria Mazzini. Choreography by Margie and Chris Gillis, & James Kudelka music by Eugene Friesen Spindrift is a solo is choreographed by Paul Taylor; danced by Michael Trusnovec. “Conversation of Lovers: choreographed by Martha Graham and it is a duet danced by Lloyd Knight and Xin Ying.
