Maritime Gloucester’s Winter Lecture Series: Gloucester’s Converted WWI Subchasers

Join Historian Justin Demetri as he explores the story of how former Gloucester WWI submarine chasers were converted to Gloucester fishing vessels in the 1920s. These long, skinny former warships were a familiar sight in Gloucester Harbor until the early 1970s.
Maritime Gloucester will host a small number of people in person and offer an online zoom component as well. Once registered you will receive a confirmation and instructions for joining in person or online.
