Bad Books explores the first impressions and raucous debates that divide us while forcing audiences to consider what it really means to care for our children. \nSharyn Rothstein’s poignant drama opens the 2026 Season with cunning humor and heartfelt dialogue in this regional-premiere directed by M. Bevin O’Garaº. Running from June 4 to 27\, all performances are at the Natti-Willsky Performance Center – 267 East Main Street\, Gloucester. Showtimes are Wednesdays – Saturdays at 7:30pm\, with matinees Saturdays & Sunday at 2:00pm.

Appearing at first-tier venues across New England and beyond\, this talented band has earned the admiration and affection of critics and fans alike. \nBased in Boston\, No Static is one of the top Steely Dan tribute bands in the country. These dedicated musicians specialize in expertly performing the music of Steely Dan\, re-creating that amazing bluesy jazz-rock sound invented by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. As Dan fans know\, this is no small feat. The music is complex\, spanning genres\, requiring precise attention to musical detail\, with subtle grooves\, sophisticated vocal harmonies\, iconic solos\, and time and key changes popping up when least expected. Steely Dan is not an easy band to pay tribute to. \nNo Static has been nailing it for over 20 years now and their sold-out shows tell the tale. With passion and warmth they cover the breadth of Steely Dan’s great catalog\, attracting some of Boston’s finest musicians\, and working with guest performers including Steely Dan band members Walt Weiskopf (saxophonist) and Jon Herington (Music Director/guitarist).
