The band members are all multi-instrumentalists and at times use 3 keyboards to recreate the incredibly complex arrangements created by Richard Carpenter. The attention to detail paired with saxophone\, trumpet\, flute and many more instruments complete every song to perfection! \nThis show does not use tracks or pick up musicians like other shows. This is an 8 piece band that travels and performs all shows together. Additionally\, they have a multi-media slideshow which can be seen on their “Live Video” below. \nWho can forget the incomparable music of the Carpenters? The popular brother/sister duo of the 70’s and early 80’s gave us some of the most unforgettable ballads and melodic pop songs of all time. \nThis Carpenters Tribute Band brings the most authentic versions of the Carpenters music to the stage. SUMMARY:Club D’Elf
DESCRIPTION:What begins as a groove in Club d’Elf’s world often becomes a doorway into someplace older\, stranger and unshackled by time. \nThe band has spent twenty seven years helping audiences lose track of time with its shape-shifting fusion of Moroccan trance\, dub\, electronica\, jazz and improvised funk. Built around bassist and composer Mike Rivard\, each performance features a rotating cast drawn from Boston\, New York and beyond\, creating a constantly shifting ecosystem where trance forms the central core of the band’s aesthetic. Under longtime member and Casablanca native Brahim Fribgane\, the group absorbed Moroccan trance music deeply into its DNA. Fribgane passed away in early 2024\, but his spirit remains embedded in the band’s sound\, especially through Rivard’s commanding sintir work\, learned under the guidance of Fribgane and Gnawa masters Hassan Hakmoun and Mahmoud Guinia. \nTheir new album\, Loon and Thrush (due out 4/10/26)\, recorded entirely live in the studio with minimal overdubs\, channels that lineage into a raw\, improvisatory flight. While largely built on Rivard originals\, the album continues the band’s tradition of honoring key influences\, offering Moroccan-infused takes on Grateful Dead classics “Bird Song” and “New Speedway Boogie.” The overarching theme of the record is “flight” itself — the avian imagery of the title track\, the Dead’s celestial wanderings\, and the enduring presence of Fribgane\, whose spirit continues to guide the music from beyond.

DESCRIPTION:“Avery\, Gottlieb & Rothko: By the Sea” explores the artistic bond between three pivotal 20th century American artists—Milton Avery (1885–1965)\, Adolph Gottlieb (1903–1974)\, and Mark Rothko (1903-1970)—whose shared summers in Gloucester\, Massachusetts\, from the 1920s to the mid-1940s had a lasting impact on their work. The exhibit is being presented through a collaboration between the Cape Ann Museum and The Phillips Collection (Washington\, D.C.). On view at the Cape Ann Museum from June 30 through September 27\, 2026\, the exhibition will then be displayed at The Phillips Collection from October 24\, 2026\, through January 24\, 2027. \nAs the first Cape Ann Museum generated show to then be taken on by another institution\, the Museum is working in close collaboration with all three artists’ estates. The show will feature over 82 works from the 1920s to the 1960s\, with loans from 26 prominent national and private institutional collections\, including the National Gallery of Art in Washington\, D.C.\, which is a central partner lending 10 works by Mark Rothko to the exhibition. DESCRIPTION:“Avery\, Gottlieb & Rothko: By the Sea” explores the artistic bond between three pivotal 20th century American artists—Milton Avery (1885–1965)\, Adolph Gottlieb (1903–1974)\, and Mark Rothko (1903-1970)—whose shared summers in Gloucester\, Massachusetts\, from the 1920s to the mid-1940s had a lasting impact on their work. The exhibit is being presented through a collaboration between the Cape Ann Museum and The Phillips Collection (Washington\, D.C.). On view at the Cape Ann Museum from June 30 through September 27\, 2026\, the exhibition will then be displayed at The Phillips Collection from October 24\, 2026\, through January 24\, 2027. \nAs the first Cape Ann Museum generated show to then be taken on by another institution\, the Museum is working in close collaboration with all three artists’ estates. The show will feature over 82 works from the 1920s to the 1960s\, with loans from 26 prominent national and private institutional collections\, including the National Gallery of Art in Washington\, D.C.\, which is a central partner lending 10 works by Mark Rothko to the exhibition. She enjoys using her creative flair in quilting and interior design as well. \nSue graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor’s in business with a focus on hospitality management and earned an associate’s degree from the Culinary Institute of America. Following her tenure as a pastry chef in New Hampshire\, Sue returned to school for a certificate in graphic design and put her talents to use as a designer in the book publishing and art publishing industries in Vermont. In early 2019\, Sue opened her own gallery and studio\, Arts Abound in Magnolia Village\, MA\, as an artistic haven for local artists. Through the gallery\, over 30 artists featured their creative works\, ranging from paintings\, hand-painted silk scarves\, silver jewelry\, and more. Sue also ran many workshops and classes featuring many of the artists. Often\, Sue would work late into the night\, painting in her Arts Abound studio. After closing the gallery in 2022\, Sue continued to offer the often sold-out painting classes\, taught by some of the Arts Abound artists. \nSue has studied under numerous artists to learn watercolor\, acrylic painting\, cold wax & oil\, and collage. Her goals for the Hammond Castle Museum sketch classes are to engage those who are new to the world of art and reinvigorate those who haven’t picked up a blank canvas or sketch pad in a long time. Sue’s philosophy on the creative process encourages you to be less concerned about the final product and instead to enjoy the journey of creativity and get lost in the moment. Once you find yourself in your work\, you may just be surprised!

DESCRIPTION:“Avery\, Gottlieb & Rothko: By the Sea” explores the artistic bond between three pivotal 20th century American artists—Milton Avery (1885–1965)\, Adolph Gottlieb (1903–1974)\, and Mark Rothko (1903-1970)—whose shared summers in Gloucester\, Massachusetts\, from the 1920s to the mid-1940s had a lasting impact on their work. The exhibit is being presented through a collaboration between the Cape Ann Museum and The Phillips Collection (Washington\, D.C.). On view at the Cape Ann Museum from June 30 through September 27\, 2026\, the exhibition will then be displayed at The Phillips Collection from October 24\, 2026\, through January 24\, 2027. \nAs the first Cape Ann Museum generated show to then be taken on by another institution\, the Museum is working in close collaboration with all three artists’ estates. The show will feature over 82 works from the 1920s to the 1960s\, with loans from 26 prominent national and private institutional collections\, including the National Gallery of Art in Washington\, D.C.\, which is a central partner lending 10 works by Mark Rothko to the exhibition. Many works in this exhibition have never been on public view. \nThis unprecedented exhibit\, accompanied by a 224-page catalog produced by Rizzoli Electa\, will reveal the deep connections between these artists\, emphasizing their roles as both mentors and peers\, while showcasing the unique working methods and lifelong friendships that shaped their groundbreaking art. DESCRIPTION:Dueling Pianos is back. Bring your friends and have a ball. Dueling Pianos is a massive “to the top of your lungs” sing along with all your friends! Two grand pianos are center-stage with a team of outrageously talented pianists that seem to know every song ever written. \nEach show is different because it’s all request. And you or your friends might get called up onstage for a bit of good humored fun and some unforgettable you-tube moments. These shows are request oriented\, interactive sing-a-longs wherein two piano players sit across from each other and trade songs. The dueling piano audience is used for the dueling aspect of the show. Audience members are pitted one-side-against-the-other. Examples of rivalries include country vs. rock\, men against women\, etc. \nDueling piano shows often take unexpected turns\, like involving wait staff members\, changing song lyrics or roasting popular audience members. There aren’t many boundaries. It’s one big sing-along party\, swaying to the music and bellowing-out familiar lyrics.
