SUMMARY:Robert Ellis Orrall with an After Party with Funbucket
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a night of stories and songs from renowned songwriter and producer Robert Ellis Orrall. He and his original band from the 80’s will be playing songs he wrote for and with Taylor Swift\, Reba McEntire\, Lindsay Lohan\, Michael McDonald and hundreds of other timeless artists. \nWhen RCA Records signed North Shore native Robert Ellis Orrall in 1980 he had his dream band: Kook Lawry on guitar\, Don Walden on bass and David Stefanelli on the drums. 46 years later they are back on the road and in the studio. \nPart of a New Wave of Boston artists that included The Stompers\, Jon Butcher Axis\, Til Tuesday and The Neighborhoods\, REO rocked legendary venues like The Rat\, The Paradise and The Orpheum Theater. \nThe band’s critically acclaimed albums\, “Fixation”\, “Contain Yourself”\, and “Special Pain” were recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales with producer Roger Bechirian (Elvis Costello\, Squeeze)\, and supported with tours opening for U2\, The Kinks\, Psychedelic Furs and countless others. And their Top 40 smash hit with Carlene Carter “I Couldn’t Say No” still stands as an 80’s classic. \nWhen Robert moved to Nashville to write and produce\, Kook\, Don and David lent their talents to artists like Peter Wolf (J. Geils)\, Barry Goudreau & Brad Delp (Boston)\, Carlene Carter\, Brian Maes\, Nick Lowe and many more. \nRobert Ellis Orrall has had over 350 songs (and five #1 songs) cut around the world and soundtracked in TV and movies llke “The Bourne Identity”\, “Hannah Montana” and “Freaky Friday”. He produced tracks for Love and Theft\, Cake Bake Betty and Taylor Swift’s 10X Platinum debut and followup EP. \nThe band regrouped to reminisce\, tour and record “467 Surf And Gun Club”\, an album John Hiatt called “absolutely joyful”\, Michael McDonald called “relevant and timeless’\, and said American Songwriter “The melodies\, counter melodies\, and killer performances constitute a unique blend of ‘60s-pop-meets-modern-indie songwriting.” They’ve released 5 new albums since then including “Wrong Thing” and “Wonderland”. \nThe band is touring from now to forever\, playing songs from all of their albums and albums to come\, listed below. The old cliche “Let’s get the band back together” has come to life with these four best friends playing their best music. \n“…Fixation” 1981 \n“Special Pain 1983 \n“Contain Yourself” 1984 \n“467 Surf And Gun Club” 2022 \n“B-Sides And C-Sides” 2024 \n“The Mountain Is The Bear 2025 \n“The War Between Us” 2025 \n“Wrong Thing” 2025 \n“Wonderland” 2026

SUMMARY:King Yellowman
DESCRIPTION:Jamaica’s first dancehall superstar\, Yellowman ushered in a new era in reggae music following Bob Marley’s death. His early-’80s success brought the popularity of toasting — the reggae equivalent of rapping — to a whole new level\, and helped establish dancehall as the wave of the future. For better or for worse\, he also epitomized dancehall’s penchant for “slack” lyrics — that is\, casual violence\, sexism\, homophobia\, and general rudeness. Graphic sexuality was his particular forte\, reaching levels of explicitness previously unheard in Jamaica. It brought him numerous detractors\, but it was also a big reason for his early popularity. There was more to it than that\, though; Yellowman was one of the most verbally nimble toasters of his time\, with a loose\, easy flow\, a talent for improvisation\, and a definite wit in his wordplay. Plus\, all the boasting about his prowess on the mic or in the bedroom had to be over the top to be convincing: true to his stage name\, Yellowman is an albino\, which carries a tremendous social stigma in Jamaica. His rise to stardom was unlikely enough\, but his transformation from untouchable outcast into sex symbol was staggering — and may not even have taken place without his trademark lewdness. Shocking though it could be\, it affirmed him as a sexual being just like his listeners\, and was delivered with enough humor to let the audience know that he didn’t take himself too seriously. Bouts with cancer pushed him into more thoughtful\, socially conscious territory in the 1990s\, but his initial style remains the most influential\, paving the way for countless dancehall toasters to follow. He remained quiet through most of the 2000s before mounting a comeback with 2019’s\nNo More War.

SUMMARY:Bella Rayne Band
DESCRIPTION:At just 18\, Bella Rayne is a self-taught guitarist\, vocalist\, and songwriter whose sound is quickly turning heads across the country. Born in the mountains of North Carolina and raised along the rugged coast of Mendocino\, California\, she blends rock and Americana with the improvisational spirit of the jam-band tradition—creating a sound that feels both timeless and strikingly new\, bridging generations of listeners. Her journey began during the pandemic\, when she pulled an old Stratocaster from her garage\, fixed it up\, and taught herself to play by ear—unlocking a voice and style entirely her own. She has since formed Bella Rayne Band\, a high-energy\, guitar-driven ensemble that has quickly become one of the most talked-about rising acts on the live circuit. Led by a young lineup of seasoned musicians\, the band has surged from small rooms to coast-to-coast stages and festival lineups in a remarkably short time\, with crowds growing at every stop. Their sets are explosive and ever- evolving—blending soulful Southern rock\, modern Americana\, and improvisational jam with bold reinterpretations of Grateful Dead classics alongside Bella’s own originals. The result is a sound that feels both timeless and unmistakably new\, often described as the next generation of Tedeschi Trucks Band with an alternative edge and a 70s vibe. With demand building nationwide\, the band recently completed recording singles for an upcoming EP slated for release in 2026—marking the next step in a trajectory that shows no signs of slowing down.\nDespite her young age\, Bella has already shared the stage with seasoned artists and respected bands: appearances alongside Allman Betts Family Revival\, Melvin Seals & JGB\, ALO\, Jackie Greene\, Oteil Burbridge\, and members of Terrapin Family have all added to her early résumé and she was touted as “one to watch” by her idol\, Susan Tedeschi in a 2025 Guitar World Magazine interview. In addition\, she has been invited to iconic stages nationwide including The Fillmore SF\, The Orpheum LA\, Sweetwater Music Hall\, The Hamilton\, and even celebrated her 18th birthday with a set on the Prudential stage at Bottlerock Napa festival. One of the most iconic moments of her rising career: she was entrusted to play the legendary guitar known as “Alligator” — once wielded by Jerry Garcia. That honor\, courtesy of Grateful Guitars Foundation\, has become a defining chapter in Bella’s journey and Guitar Player magazine recently recognized her as one of the players “keeping the Dead alive” alongside Jeff Mason (Dark Star Orchestra) and Tom Hamilton (JRAD) in an article from May 2025.

SUMMARY:Deric Dyer - Music & Stories from a Life of Touring with Tina Turner and Joe Cocker
DESCRIPTION:Deric Dyer was born in Ireland and lived in England until 1967\, when his trumpet-player father moved his family to Bermuda – where Deric’s musical career began. In Spring of 1975\, after meeting Cliff Goodwin and joining the American Standard Band\, Deric moved to America. Just two years later\, ASB would become Joe Cocker‘s band. Playing in Joe’s horn section with the legendary Bobby Keys\, “Rolling Stones\, Stevie Wonder” Deric quickly learned the art of Rock/R&B sax. This proved to be valuable experience for what was still to come in his career. After a couple of years of playing with Joe\, Deric left to play and record with many of the best of Boston’s music scene\, a highlight recording with Rick Ocasek of The Cars on his first solo album Beatitude. \nDeric’s next life-changing opportunity came in January 1987\, when he had the good fortune to audition for Rock And Roll Hall of Fame -Tina Turner. He spent an amazing two years as part of her Break Every Rule World Tour\, and when Tina was paired with Joe Cocker on Summer festival shows in Germany\, Deric and Joe rekindled their friendship. Deric wasn’t home long from TT tour when manager Michael Lang (Woodstock Promoter) called to ask if he would like to re-join Joe Cocker and the rest of the band for the Unchain My Heart World Tour. Deric jumped at the chance to revisit that special time in his career. \nDeric continued to tour with Joe throughout the 80’s\, 90’s\, and 2000’s\, as well as playing with Roger Hodgson\, Al Jarreau\, Tony Hadley and Andrea Bocelli. Belgium’s Night of The Proms reunited him with his Tina band mate (and the best man at his wedding)\, John Miles. In 2012 and 2013\, Deric was asked to take part in the John Lennon Double Fantasy Bermuda Tribute Concerts\, where he worked with Maxi Priest\, Biggie Irie\, Roy Young\, Uzimon and many amazing Bermudian artists to celebrate the music of John Lennon. \nTwo years after losing Joe\, arguably the greatest voice in Rock & Roll\, Deric reached out to his old friends to ask if they could come together again to help keep Joe’s music alive. Their answer was a resounding “YES!” and “Mad Dogs Unchained” was born. MDU went on to play Worcester’s Bull Mansion (among other New England venues)\, release an hour-long documentary video with a live CD\, and travel Europe for eighteen shows in 2018. \nDuring the pandemic\, Deric also collaborated with James Duncan and Tony Brannon to produce “Hope!” – a song for the time – with the goal of helping lift the spirits of people everywhere. \nDeric Produced the Trilbee Kings album. Working with Executive Producer Rich Kneeland\, Deric & Rich\, with some of the best musicians in the world\, headed of to Los Angeles to record at the famous Sunset Sound Studios. Deric plays soaring solos that adds the final\, rich sound to the T.K. Album. \nOn July 4th 2023 Deric performed in celebration of Tina Turner at New York City’s Macy’s/NBC fireworks display\, seen live by millions all over the world. Later that year was a special guest speaker at the Tina Turner Museum – West Delta Heritage Center Brownsville TN. Deric also rereleased Renaissance Man with the additional track “Tennessee Waltz” Sept 2023. \nThis September brings the release of Deric’s sixth album Red String. A beautiful mix of classic songs from Dylan “Make You Feel My Love” Lennon “Imagine” to Jim Webb “Wichita Lineman” Another captivating musical journey!

Mystic simply says “Andrew has a job to do and so do I\, impact or not we both have our own mission to complete”. \nTHE EARLY YEARS\nMighty Mystic was born Kevin Mark Holness in the farming community of Goshen\, St. Elizabeth\, Jamaica to parents Morris & Sonia Holness. As a child\, Kevin showed early interest in his native island’s music. It was common to hear him singing the latest tunes while imitating the actions of popular reggae artists. When Kevin was 9\, the family left Goshen and relocated to Boston. Though oceans apart Kevin never lost the passion for his beloved reggae music. Kevin alongside his brother Stephen began performing at school talent shows\, outdoor gatherings and anywhere a mic was on display and quickly made a name for themselves as the “reggae rappers”. Soon after the brothers formed their first band the “Thunder Band”. Kevin became “Mystic” as it was his dads nickname and also the name of the area in Boston where he lived. With Mystic on vocals and Stephen on the lightening sharp guitar the brothers would score a National hit (Riding on the Clouds) and a Global hit (Revolution) on their two first releases. This early success and family bond would be the foundation of which carefully crafted reggae music would flow. \nMYSTIC OF TODAY\nThough his brother Stephen has since retired\, Mighty Mystic has continued to carry the reggae torch. And is now a Globally respected and sought-after artist on the reggae scene. His brand of “HARD ROOTS” with his high energy stage performance has been a magnet for the enthusiastic reggae fan base. He has managed to hold firm to his Jamaican roots while adding elements of Hip Hop and Rock giving Mystic his own identifiable sound. To date Mighty Mystic has released 5 successful albums Wake up the World 2010\, Concrete World 2014\, The Art of Balance 2016\, Enter the Mystic 2019 and Giant 2022. Many of his releases have become cult like favorites within the global reggae genre. He has come a long way from performing at school talent shows to now sharing the stage with some of the greats like Ziggy Marley\, Steel Pulse\, Damian Marley\, Buju Banton\, Stephen Marley\, Shaggy\, SOJA\, Toots and the Maytals\, Collie Buddz\, Sean Paul\, Lee Scratch Perry\, Barrington Levy\, The Wailers\, John Brownʼs Body\, Dirty Heads Third World\, Freddie McGregor\, Capleton and the list goes on… Whether club\, festival or TV you can be sure to be entertained by the vibes provided by Mighty Mystic. Be on the lookout for his up-coming 2022 “Giant” Album release world tour. \nDOUBLE TIGER\nDouble Tiger (Jay Spaker) is an acclaimed producer\, vocalist\, and multi-instrumentalist who has become a central figure in the modern American reggae and dub scene. Originally gaining prominence as a key collaborator and producer for the influential label Dub-Stuy Records\, he is known for heavily integrating sound system culture into contemporary roots aesthetics.\nAs a solo artist and front-man\, his music blends smooth\, melodic vocals with heavy\, 1980s-inspired steppers and rub-a-dub riddims. He is also a long-time guitarist and vocalist for John Brown’s Body\, firmly establishing his credentials within the progressive reggae-rock landscape.

SUMMARY:Paul D'Angelo's 3rd Annual So-Long-To-Summer Comedy Show
DESCRIPTION:Besides headlining A-List comedy clubs for almost forty years\, Paul has also opened for over sixty internationally known recording acts including Ray Charles\, Aretha Franklin\, Tom Jones\, Tony Bennett\, The Beach Boys\, Chicago\, The Four Tops\, The Temptations\, The Doobie Brothers\, Jerry Lee Lewis\, Lyle Lovett\, and George Carlin\, and has performed in many famed entertainment venues ranging from the legendary Friar’s Club and the main ballroom of New York City’s Waldorf Astoria\, to the main showroom at Harrah’s Casino and Caesar’s Palace. \nPaul co-starred in the popular stand-up comedy movie The Godfathers of Comedy on Showtime\, and is also the author of six hilarious books that have won numerous literary awards. \nCarolyn Plummer. God help us. Some comics rely on the monumental events of the day or the faux pas of the rich and famous. Not Carolyn. Carolyn pulls material from the hum-drum\, day-to-day monotony of the life of everyman; and she does it well. To Carolyn the monumental is easy… it’s our existence that’s so hard\, yet so ridiculous. Some women look in the mirror and complain that they aren’t pretty enough\, not rich enough\, not young enough. Carolyn gives her reflection the finger.

SUMMARY:Ana Popovic with Danielle Miraglia
DESCRIPTION:“In the 25 years since the release of her debut record\, Hometown\, tail-gunning blues virtuoso\nAna Popovic has proved herself a force of nature with a vintage Stratin hand.” – Guitar World \n“Ana Popovic Melds Rock\, Blues\, and Jazz for Fiery Power” – No Depression \n“A badass with a silver Strat\, she performs the heck out of this song [“Worked Up”]\, owning it\nwith swagger and grace. … “Worked Up” captures her love of funky grooves plus the edginess\nof rocking guitar power. – Rock & Blues Muse \nLos Angeles-based and critically acclaimed guitarist and singer Ana Popovic is set to release her\nhighly anticipated album Dance To The Rhythm (Electric Heel Records) on September 26\, 2025.\nProduced by Popovic and Buthel\, the album showcases a groundbreaking fusion of groove\,\nblues\, funk\, and soul. \nBuilding on the success of her previous work\, Dance To The Rhythm pushes boundaries\,\nseamlessly blending infectious dance grooves (“Dance To The Rhythm” / “Sho Nuff”) with raw\nblues guitar and powerful lyrics. From the soulful “Soul’ution” to the funky “Hottest Ticket In\nTown” and the bluesy “Dwell On The Feeling”\, “California Chase\,” the album weaves a rich\ntapestry of musical styles\, reflecting Popovic’s masterful versatility. The track “Sisters and\nBrothers” channels a Steely Dan-like arrangement\, while “Hurt So Good” brings a contemporary\nmainstream flair. The ultimate jam comes in the form of a clever reimagining of Paul Simon’s\n“50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.” \nAna says: “One of my biggest strengths on stage is my ability to make people dance. Music\nshould take you to a place where you can let go\, feel the groove\, and move. You want music to\ngrab you\, to have a pocket that you can’t resist. —everything else revolves around it. Blues\nguitar has never really been part of dance music before\, and in that way\, it’s revolutionary. Guitar\nplays a central role in these tracks\, breaking down the boundaries created by time\, culture\, and\nmusical traditions. With this album\, I’m pushing those boundaries.” For Ana\, blues guitar is the\nfoundation of everything in her music. Yet\, she masterfully blends genres\, effortlessly shifting\nfrom blues to dance\, jam band\, funk\, pop\, and even gospel—it’s all part of her evolving sound.\nA true pioneer\, Ana combines her blues guitar roots with bold experimentation\, redefining the\nintersection of blues and dance music. Her live performances\, whether with her six-piece or\neleven-piece funk band FUNTASTAFUNK\, are electrifying\, blending fierce guitar work with\nirresistible rhythms that compel audiences to move. \nA multi-award-winning artist\, Popovic has earned recognition from major outlets and industry\nfigures\, including Bruce Springsteen\, who called her “one helluva guitar player.” She’s been\nnominated for seven Blues Music Awards\, and her latest album POWER hit #1 on the Billboard\nBlues Chart. Ana has shared stages with legends such as B.B. King\, Joe Bonamassa\, Warren\nHaynes\, Robert Plant\, and Gary Clark Jr.\, and is an endorsee of Fender\, D’Angelico\, Jim Dunlop\,\nand DR Strings. \nPopovic’s commitment to her craft and fearless boundary-pushing ensures she remains one of the\nmost dynamic forces in contemporary blues and beyond. \nDanielle Miraglia\nDanielle Miraglia (murr-Ä L e a) comes armed with a strong steady thumb on an old Gibson\,an infectious stomp-box rhythm\, harmonica and tunes ranging from heart-felt to socially conscious that will move both your heart and hips.

SUMMARY:Delta Generators with Julie Rhodes
DESCRIPTION:Real music by real people\, played live and recorded live. This best embodies the philosophy of\nestablished Boston band Delta Generators and their approach for their latest record ON & ON.\nIn an industry where technology has become the standard and intelligence has become artificial\,\nDelta Generators are keeping it real and will continue to do so going forward. All the songs on\nthis record were written\, arranged and rehearsed over a period of eight days and then recorded in\ntwo days at Power Station N.E. in Waterford\, CT by Evan Bakke\, best known for his work with\nWarren Haynes and Prince. The idea was to get together\, play and when something feels right\,\nwork it! No preconceived ideas as to what it should be. A journey of liberation\, inspiration and\nperspiration. Yeah\, Blues is the vehicle\, but their lifelong love of rock music is the fuel that\npowers it. \nBrothers Charlie and Rick O’Neal\, on guitar and bass respectively\, have been playing together\nsince their teenage years. Most notably as members of Benjamin Orr’s band\, former singer and\nbass player with The Cars. Sometimes they would go off and do other projects\, Charlie toured\nwith UK band Must and Rick played in Boston guitar hero Johnny A’s band\, but inevitably they\nwould play together again and again. Charlie had been playing in rock bands throughout\nhis early years\, but he was always a huge fan of Blues guitar. He spent years honing his abilities\nby playing along with records. When the opportunity presented itself for a Blues driven side\nproject\, he was all in. That moment altered his future\, placing him in the position to celebrate his\npassion for personal heroes like Elmore James\, Freddie King and Albert Collins. \nWhen the ensemble was first conceived\, a lover of R&B and Soul named Craig Rawding took\nthe mic as the original front man. Charlie O’Neal brought on his brother Rick as the bassist. And \nin 2007\, the Delta Generators were born. The initial drummer had to bail after a few months\, so\nup-and-coming percussionist Jeff Armstrong was brought into the fold. By 2008\, it was no\nlonger a side project\, and they captured the win at the Boston Blues Challenge. They went on to \nMemphis to compete in the International Blues Challenge where they almost took the top spot. \nFrom there the band went on to forge a solid place in the Boston Blues scene. They went on to\nrecord four records before Craig decided to leave the band in 2016. Enter Brian Templeton\, a\nfixture in the local scene since 1991. His band The Radio Kings had already recorded for two\nlabels\, and he had toured all across the U.S. and Europe with them and as a solo artist. A\nconsummate showman and lover of the spirit\, Brian was rooted in the rock music of his youth\nand was already a seasoned Blues Man. It was a perfect fit and the rest as they say is history.\n“Brian lifted the DGs to a new level with his showmanship and drive\,” says Charlie\, “I don’t\nthink the band would have continued if Brian hadn’t joined.” Brother Rick continues\, “Besides\nhis top-notch vocals\, Brian brought a powerful stage presence and killer harmonica playing to\nthe mix and his lyric writing is in a class all by itself.” \nThe new album is anything but vanilla. After all these years together\, the quartet has a voice and\nswagger that is all their own. The new repertoire is a pure collaboration that has captured what\nmakes this union of these four musicians so organic and pure in its creation. Drummer Jeff\nArmstrong shares\, “Unlike the previous record\, which was more of a compilation of great songs\,\nthis new record stands in itself as a complete cohesive work.” Guitarist Charlie O’Neal offers \, \n“ON & ON perfectly captures the live spirit of the band and is by far sonically superior to any of our previous albums.” \nDelta Generators love writing and recording but they live to play live. Making a connection with\ntheir fans is the most important part of it. As Templeton says. “Making a spiritual bond with the\npeople\, our fans\, is why we do what we do. There really is no other reason.”
