Sales are now underway for the 2027 Discover Gloucester Visitor Guide, and Gloucester, Cape Ann, and regional businesses are invited to be part of one of our most important annual destination marketing initiatives.
As the official destination marketing organization for the City of Gloucester, Discover Gloucester works year-round to increase awareness of Gloucester as a desirable place to visit while supporting the local businesses that make our destination unique. The annual Visitor Guide is an important part of that work, connecting visitors with places to stay, things to do, restaurants, shops, arts and cultural experiences, and more.

Reach Visitors Planning a Trip to Gloucester
Each year, about 75,000 copies of the Discover Gloucester Visitor Guide are distributed in print, with a digital flipbook extending the guide’s reach online.
Distribution targets key travel markets through CTM Media, Getaways on Display, tour operators, event coordinators, AAA offices, airports, the concierge community, direct mail fulfillment, and additional outlets.
Designed to be both inspirational and practical, the guide features editorial content, destination photography, walking maps, train information, and resources to help visitors plan their time in Gloucester, Cape Ann, and the surrounding region.

Put Your Business in Front of Gloucester Visitors
Businesses can participate in the Visitor Guide through a variety of advertising and listing opportunities, including display advertising, business listings, map listings, calendar listings, special placements, and advertorials.
Businesses with listings in the printed Visitor Guide are also included on the map in the guide’s centerfold, helping visitors find places to eat, shop, stay, explore, and experience while they are here.
Visitor Guide participation is also an opportunity to become more connected with Discover Gloucester’s year-round destination marketing efforts. Partnership benefits may include inclusion in social media, blog posts, e-newsletters, Visitor Guide editorial content and photo shoots; consideration for FAM trips and creator or travel writer collaborations; invitations to partner events and networking opportunities; and access to additional digital marketing and co-op advertising opportunities throughout the year.
