    A vacation is only as good as its destination and you really can’t get any better than waking up with the coast at your feet. Family-owned and operated since 1949, Cape Ann Camp Site is located in Gloucester, MA. Avid historians and eager vacationers alike are charmed by the region’s antiquity and its beauty. Set in 80 acres of mature woodland, the campground overlooks the Annisquam River and is one mile from Wingaersheek Beach.

     

    Carved from nature, the campground offers sites which range in size from intimate tenting to large RV sites with electric, water, and sewer. Picnic tables, showers, ice, wood, a convenience store are centrally located for visitors. Rock fireplaces are at most sites in the upper park for campers to relax and unwind by the campfire with family and friends.

     

    Cape Ann Camp Site is close to downtown Gloucester (4 miles), Rockport (8 miles), Salem (13 miles) and Boston (1 hour by train). Enjoy exploring the local attractions such as antique shops, restaurants, sandy beaches, whale watching, shopping, deep-sea fishing, harbor tours, hiking, biking, and a number of festivals occur throughout the summer. Open May through October.
