About the Reenactment

The 250th Anniversary Reenactment of the Battle of Bunker Hill will authentically depict the events of June 17, 1775, while honoring those who took part in the conflict. The event will recognize and remember the contributions and sacrifices of individuals on all sides of the battle through in-depth research, public reenactments, community engagement, and educational initiatives.

The Battle of Bunker Hill Reenactment runs from 8 AM-5 PM on Saturday and 8 AM-2 PM on Sunday. Each day’s schedule includes several components of the battle, including the Navy’s approach, landing, flanking attack, and the main assault. Parking, Public Transportation & Shuttles

We recommend taking public transportation the weekend of the reenactment as parking in Stage Fort Park will be limited. Gloucester is accessible via the Rockport line of the MBTA Commuter Rail and from points around Cape Ann via CATA.

Metered parking is available on-street and in lots around Gloucester with payments accepted at kiosks or through the Flowbird app.

Additional parking locations for attendees are noted on the map below. When arriving at the reenactment, we recommend setting your navigation for Stage Fort Park and following signage to the next available parking area as lots will be filled one at a time.
